Ms. Heba Alshehhi was named the first president of the new PMOGA Hub on July 6, 20222, at a stunning launch event hosted at the Museum of the Future in Dubai.

Ms. Heba Alshehhi is an experienced PMO Head. She manages Dubai Municipality's PMO, which was named the 2021 World PMO of the Year Award winner at the PMO Global Awards, the world's largest and most prestigious PMO award. 

Ms. Heba Alshehhi has a proven track record of working in the city government and is proficient in the setup and managing of Project Management Offices (PMO), application development, enterprise architecture, ITIL, IT service management, and agile project management. She earned a Master's degree in Project Management from the British University of Dubai and has many prestigious certifications such as   PMP, PMO-CP, ACP, CAL, TOGAF, ITIL, and TIBAI business agility advisor.

According to Mr. Americo Pinto, PMOGA Founder and Chair, the new PMOGA UAE Hub will develop quickly and, as witnessed in Dubai, will play a vital role in terms of innovation in PMO and project management practices. 

During the launch event, Ms. Heba Alshehhi and the Dubai Municipality were also honored. "It is an honor to have Ms. Heba's leadership and the backing of the Dubai Municipality as we work together to develop a thriving community of PMOs in the UAE, focusing on innovation and value creation for organizations and society," said Mr. Americo Pinto.

Ms. Heba Alshehhi also said some meaningful words about the future of the new PMOGA UAE Hub: "Without a doubt, wonderful opportunities for learning, sharing, and exchanging experiences will arise in the coming months, and we hope that our members in the UAE can engage in building our new hub and show the world how PMOs are a key element of organizational success."
